The crock pot yogurt is tasty and really easy! I actually am making a batch as we speak. I combine it with homemade granola for a fantastic breakfast 🙂
Check out this blog, she has amazing information about all the things you mentioned. I don’t think I’ll be going the fermenting route any time soon, hubs would think I’ve gone off the deep end…but can’t hurt to look! -
Sela, do you make your yogurt in a crock pot? Even though it looks so easy, I’m always afraid of messing it up! 🙂
That blog you mentioned looks interesting. I’ll have to look at it more closely, when I have some time. Thanks!

Yes, I make it in the crockpot. I have yet to have it fail, I’ve made about 6 batches I think.
Here’s the method I use:

Thanks, Sela!

Looks like I need to try the crockpot method too! I usually use the countertop culturing yogurts, where you don’t need any special equipment, besides a mason jar! Those are fool-proof! 🙂 I get my cultures form Cultures for Health.

Jenn, I’ve heard good things about Cultures for Health. I don’t think I’ve heard of the counter top culturing yogurts. I’ll have to look into that.
